The experience
Upon arrival at our establishment, guests are welcomed by our team and presented with a carefully prepared and sliced ham tasting menu. The experience is accompanied by an explanation in Spanish or English, designed to help understand and appreciate every detail of the product.
An educational and delicious experience, designed for a minimum of two people and lasting approximately 30 minutes.
The goal of this tasting is to learn how to distinguish the differences between the various types of ham:
- Serrano ham vs. Iberian ham
- Within Iberian ham: the difference between acorn-fed (bellota) and grain-fed (cebo)
The menu includes per person:
- Serrano ham (La Rioja)
- Iberian ham from grain-fed pigs (cebo de campo, Salamanca)
- Acorn-fed Iberian ham with Protected Designation of Origin (D.O.P.) Guijuelo (Salamanca)
- 1 drink of choice: cava, beer, wine, soft drink, water, or coffee/tea
- Artisan bread and picos (traditional breadsticks)
- Coffee / tea
