LAS TABLAS is a “tablao flamenco” founded by two female flamenco dancers: Antonia Moya and Marisol Navarro. They have been pioneers in Madrid by incorporating theatrical elements—such as lighting and sound design—into their productions, resulting in a staging style that differs from the norm typically found in “tablaos flamencos”. Prominent figures in the world of flamenco, such as El Pele, José Menese, and La Macanita, among others, have performed at LAS TABLAS, as have young artists bringing fresh ideas and original creations.
