Student residences are another accommodation option in Madrid for those who, for whatever reason, cannot or do not wish to live in their own accommodation, whether individually or in a shared room. They are located on university campuses, in the city center, and in nearby towns. You have a wide variety of options, including single or shared rooms, with private or shared bathrooms, and the possibility of adding breakfast or other meals. It is advisable to book well in advance, as they are usually in high demand and fill up almost completely a few months before the start of the academic year. Prices depend on the type of room and the services included, but most range between €900 (shared room, no private bathroom, and no meals) and €1800.
